Muswell Hill Primary School

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Muswell Hill School is an inclusive school and we welcome children of all abilities, including those with special needs/disabilities.

If you would like to talk about our provision for children with special needs, please contact Georgina Harcourt-Brown (Deputy Headteacher and SENDCO) via the School Office address: office@muswell-hill.haringey.sch.uk.

The Senior Leadership Team and the Governing Body of Muswell Hill Primary School have put together the school's  SEND Information Report which includes information about how we identify and support children with SEND.

Further detail is provided in our SEND Policy. The school's Accessibility Plan for 2023-26 is also available.

The Haringey Local Offer provides information and support for children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), their families, and the professionals who assist them. The website includes details on Education Health Care Plans (EHCP), specialist teams, travel assistance, and resources to help young people prepare for adulthood. Additionally, there is information on local events and many other services available in Haringey. The Local Offer aims to make it easier for everyone to find the support and opportunities they need.

Parents/Carers of children with SEND can access impartial support from the SEND Information, Advice & Support Service (SENDIASS). In Haringey this can be accessed through Markfield SENDIASS.

Please see the specific guidance for SEN admissions in Haringey.
